Food & Drink
The quality of the food and drink we use and serve are super important to us here at Burnt Honey, and that includes the locality, sustainability and the ethics of the companies that we deal with.
Our coffee comes from Round Hill Roastery near Bath, a boutique speciality roasting company founded in 2012. These guys really know their coffee and their coffee farmers and exactly where the coffee comes from - they have profiles of each farmer on their website. They have an excellent sustainability record, including fully recyclable bags, 100% renewable energy roast at their roastery and we get our coffee from them in recyclable cartons. We sell a variety of their coffees in both filter or espresso roast profiles and can pre-grind the beans for you if you wish. To find out more, please visit their website - it's worth it!

Most of our produce comes from two West Country food suppliers, Arthur David and R D Johns. Both companies are still family run, with the families heavily involved in the day to day operations. They source produce from the local area and both have a robust sustainability policy. We do use a range of other locally based suppliers (such as Classic Fine Foods in Bristol and The Fine Food Company in Wincanton) to source other harder to find ingredients too, and we work with them to reduce or remove plastic packaging. We also reuse or recycle everything we possibly can at the café as well.
Food
As well as an Aussie style brunch & lunch menu, we also sell a variety of sweet treats either made here in our kitchen daily or from local artisan bakeries & businesses. We also stock some of the produce that we use in our kitchen, should you want to try it at home.

Coffee
We use only the best coffee from Round Hill Roastery near Bath, right here in Somerset. They sell a variety of different coffees from different farms, all matured using different processes. We stock some of these for you to buy, either roasted for a filter coffee set up, or an espresso set up. We stock 1kg bags of our three house coffees - Unit 14, Circles and Galeras Decaf, and sell beans in 100g lots if you bring your own container!
